Wisconsin’s official flag was adopted in 1863. And while the design is nice, our state was only 15 years old at the time and, like a lot of us at that age, hadn't quite figured itself out yet. Our unsanctioned take on the design swaps the boring old-timey stuff for a selection of contemporary lifestyle accoutrements more in line with a leisurely weekend in Dairyland.
